 01  What are the best ways to study?

​

Since we are all different learner you have to find what works best for you.  Asking others who are studying is always a good idea but relying on their methods may not work for you

 

 

 

 02  Can you guarantee that I'll pass the exam?

​

No, I can't.  The only person that can guarantee that is you.  All the resources you use for the exam and what you put into learning is what guarantees a pass.  

 

 

 

 03  I'm having anxiety attacks about the exam.

​

That's normal.  All the education and training you've completed of course anxiety may set it.  This is a big step.  Addressing your anxiety is possible - can you practice being a counselor for you? How would you help a client who came to you with the same concern?

 

 

 04  How well do I need to know disorders?

​

How would you feel if you went to therapy and your therapist didn't know disorders? This is very important.  There is a difference between memorizing and knowing - knowing the disorders is what you need to know to be a therapist. 

 

 

 

 05  Is the test as difficult as people make it out to be?

​

Yes and no.  First, You need to know disorders, assessments, and theories used in therapy and then you can focus on the test set-up.  Knowing all this information will make those practice tests easier to understand.  Stay focused and be confident.
